Dr. Srivastava embodies the pinnacle of neurological care, specializing in intricate cranial and spinal conditions. His expertise spans advanced procedures such as Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson's disease, pioneering **Epilepsy Surgery**, and intricate **Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery**. Dr. Srivastava's remarkable academic journey began with an MBBS in August 2001, where he achieved exceptional distinction by earning 14 Gold Medals from M.L.B. Medical College, Jhansi, alongside two Governor’s Gold Medals and a University Bronze Medal from Bundelkhand University. He further honed his surgical skills, completing his DNB in General Surgery in 2006. His pursuit of excellence led him to Medanta, The Medicity, Gurgaon, where he undertook his DNB in Neurosurgery, clearing it in December 2016, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology and practices.
Following his DNB, Dr. Srivastava joined Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, as an Associate Consultant in Neurosurgery in February 2017, swiftly progressing to his current role as a Consultant. He is deeply interested in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, and particularly in Neuromodulation, reflecting his commitment to innovative treatments. This dedication was further solidified during his advanced fellowship in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in October-November 2018, under the esteemed guidance of Dr (Prof) Konstantin Slavin.
Dr. Srivastava works alongside a highly dedicated team, proficient in managing almost all complex cranial and spinal cases. The procedures regularly performed by his team include: Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson's disease and dystonia, advanced Epilepsy Surgery, comprehensive Minimally Invasive and Complex Spine Surgery, Intrathecal Drug Delivery systems (such as Baclofen and Morphine pumps), Vagal Nerve Stimulation, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery. Demonstrating his leadership in the field, Dr. Srivastava has independently performed two successful cases of Spinal Cord Stimulation.
