Dr. Ashu Kumar Jain is a pioneer in Pain Medicine and Palliative Care with over 14 years of experience. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Rohtak, followed by an MD in Anesthesiology and a Fellowship in Pain Medicine. He received advanced training from renowned institutes such as AIIMS, New Delhi, and LLRM Medical College, Meerut.
Dr. Jain was instrumental in setting up the Pain Medicine department at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, which now performs a full range of advanced interventional pain procedures. He is one of India's foremost specialists in non-surgical pain management, and treats conditions such as cancer pain, back and neck pain, joint disorders, neuralgias, and chronic headaches using a multidisciplinary approach.
His procedural expertise includes spinal cord stimulators, intrathecal pumps, nerve root blocks, coeliac plexus blocks, lumbar sympathectomy, and radiofrequency ablation of pain-related ganglia. These interventions are often performed when conventional medications fail, providing immense relief to patients suffering from intractable pain syndromes.
