Dr. Bimal Kumar Sahu

Dr. Bimal Kumar Sahu is a senior consultant and the Unit In-Charge of Gastroenterology at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon. With more than 13 years of clinical experience, he is widely acknowledged for his expertise in advanced endoscopic techniques and management of complex gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Sahu is an alumnus of SCB Medical College and has completed his MD from Dr. RML Hospital and DM in Gastroenterology from the prestigious GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi.

He holds an advanced fellowship in endoscopy from West China Hospital, Sichuan University, where he trained under internationally reputed faculty. His clinical interests span across therapeutic endoscopy, gastrointestinal oncology, hepatology, and critical care gastroenterology. He is proficient in POEM, ESD, third-space endoscopy, ERCP, Spyglass cholangioscopy, and EUS-guided interventions for gastric varices and pancreatic disorders.

Dr. Sahu’s experience includes appointments at leading institutions such as Medanta, Fortis, and Apollo Hospitals. He is frequently invited to national and international workshops, CMEs, and public awareness initiatives. His research in areas like endo-hepatology, pancreatic necrosis, and autoimmune hepatitis is well published in journals like Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, JGH Open, and Gut.
