He further specialized with an M.Ch. in Cardiac Surgery from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune University (1990), laying a robust foundation for his super-specialization. His international exposure includes a prestigious Fellowship in Coronary Artery Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia (1993-1994), and serving as a Senior Registrar in Cardiac Surgery with the National Health Service (UK) (1994-1995).

A true pioneer, Dr. Manoj Luthra is renowned for his expertise in several cutting-edge procedures that define advanced cardiac care today. He is a leading specialist in Off Pump Total Arterial Revascularization and intricate Thoracic Aneurysm Surgery. He served as Dean & Professor (Cardiac Surgery) from 2010 to 2014, Consultant & Head of Dept. (Cardiac Surgery) at Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi (2007-2010), and held various professorial roles in Cardiac Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. His leadership roles underscore his ability not only as a surgeon but also as an educator and administrator, shaping the next generation of cardiac surgeons in India.

He is a recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal (2010), the Chief of Army Staff Commendation (2005), and multiple General Officer Commanding Commendations (1997, 2003 & 2007). His commitment to knowledge dissemination is further demonstrated by his authorship of "Manual of Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care" (Elsevier India, 2012) and 22 papers in indexed journals. He is an active member of prestigious bodies like the Indian Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, Pediatric Cardiac Society of India, and the World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery.
