About Dr. Vivek Barun

Dr. Vivek Barun is a Senior Consultant (Neurology & Epilepsy) in the Department of Neurology at Artemis Hospital. He has extensive experience treating various neurological disorders, with a special focus on Epilepsy. His experience spans roles at several prestigious hospitals, including Shree Aggarsain International Hospital, Shree Gomati Hospital, Lalita Hospital, and Fortis Hospital.

Following his DM in Neurology, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in epilepsy at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science, Hyderabad. This advanced training equipped him to manage complex epilepsy cases in both children and adults, encompassing medical and surgical approaches, VNS, DBS, Subdural grid, Stereo EEG, ECOG, sphenoidal electrode placement, and long-term Video EEG monitoring.

He is actively involved in academics, frequently contributing as a faculty member at national and international conferences.
